Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Production Before Dispatch

Chaitanya Print provides customised printing services. Orders must first complete the relevant printing, binding, finishing, packaging and quality-check stages before dispatch.

Production time is separate from courier transit time and may vary depending on the nature of the printing order.

2. Production Time

Production time may depend on several factors, including:

• quantity of books or printed products;
• total number of pages;
• black-and-white or colour printing;
• paper type and GSM;
• paperback, hardcover, spiral or other binding;
• lamination and finishing requirements;
• material availability;
• readiness and approval of customer files;
• production workload.

Any production estimate communicated during quotation, ordering or support is an estimate unless specifically confirmed otherwise.

3. Dispatch

Once production and required quality checks are completed, eligible orders are packed and handed over to an available courier or logistics provider.

Dispatch confirmation may include courier details or a tracking reference where available.

5. Delivery Time

Courier delivery time depends on the delivery PIN code, destination, courier network, shipment weight, service availability and prevailing transport conditions.

Metro and major urban locations may have different transit times from remote, rural or special-service locations.

Courier transit estimates begin after dispatch, not from the date the printing order was placed.

6. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges may be determined by factors including:

• shipment weight;
• parcel dimensions;
• delivery PIN code;
• courier or logistics provider;
• applicable shipping mode;
• prevailing logistics rates.

Where shipping is displayed as free, included or discounted, the conditions shown in the relevant quotation, offer or checkout will apply.

7. Order Tracking

Where tracking information is available, customers may receive a courier tracking reference after dispatch.

8. Customer Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing an order.

This includes:

• recipient name;
• active mobile number;
• complete address;
• city and state;
• correct 6-digit PIN code.

Chaitanya Print is not responsible for delays arising primarily from incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery details supplied by the customer.

9. Failed Delivery or Return to Origin

A courier may be unable to complete delivery if the recipient is unavailable, the address cannot be located, the mobile number is unreachable, delivery is refused or the information supplied is incorrect.

In such circumstances, the parcel may require another delivery attempt or may be returned to origin.

Additional shipping charges may apply where re-dispatch is required for reasons not attributable to Chaitanya Print.

10. Transit Damage

Chaitanya Print takes reasonable care when packing printing orders. However, courier transit is handled by external logistics providers.

If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, retain the original packaging and contact us promptly.

11. Delayed Shipments

Delivery can occasionally be delayed by factors outside the reasonable control of Chaitanya Print.

These may include:

• severe weather;
• transport disruption;
• courier network delays;
• public holidays;
• natural events;
• government or regulatory restrictions;
• local operational disruptions.

12. Split Shipments

In some cases, a large or complex printing order may be shipped in more than one parcel.

Different parcels may have separate tracking numbers or may arrive at different times.

13. Change of Address

Customers should contact Chaitanya Print as early as possible if a delivery address needs to be changed.

Address changes may not be possible after the shipment has already been handed over to the courier or entered the delivery network.

14. Refunds Relating to Shipping

Refund or replacement requests relating to damaged, lost or materially affected shipments will be reviewed according to the facts of the order and our applicable policies.
