Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Customised Printing Orders

Most products supplied by Chaitanya Print are manufactured specifically according to each customer's printing requirements.

This may include customised quantity, page count, paper type, GSM, size, colour mode, cover, lamination, binding, finishing and delivery requirements.

Because customised printed products generally cannot be resold to another customer, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the stage of production.

2. Cancellation Before Production

Customers may request cancellation if the order has not entered printing, binding, finishing or another irreversible production stage.

Where cancellation is accepted, amounts already spent on completed services or committed costs may be deducted where applicable.

Examples may include:

• design or artwork preparation already completed;
• print-file processing or pre-press work;
• specially procured paper or material;
• payment gateway or transaction costs where applicable;
• other work already completed specifically for the order.

3. Cancellation After Production Has Started

Once printing, binding, lamination, finishing or another customised production process has started, the order may not normally be cancelled.

This is because materials, machine time and labour have already been committed to producing a product specifically for the customer.

5. Customer-Supplied File Errors

Customers are responsible for checking the content and specifications of files supplied for printing.

Refunds are normally not available where the final printed product accurately reflects the file or specifications submitted or approved by the customer.

This may include errors involving:

• spelling or grammatical mistakes;
• incorrect page order or pagination;
• low-resolution photographs or graphics;
• incorrect dimensions or margins;
• incorrect customer-selected print specifications;
• content omitted from the submitted file.

6. Colour and Commercial Printing Variation

Printed colours can appear different from colours displayed on phones, monitors or other digital screens because printing and electronic displays reproduce colour differently.

Minor differences in cutting, paper shade, binding, colour density, finishing or similar commercial production characteristics may occur within normal printing tolerances.

Such minor production variation does not automatically qualify an order for a refund.

7. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders

If you believe that your order has been materially damaged, incorrectly manufactured or does not substantially match the approved specifications, contact Chaitanya Print as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Possible Resolution

After reviewing an eligible complaint, Chaitanya Print may offer an appropriate resolution based on the nature and extent of the verified issue.

This may include:

• reprinting the affected quantity;
• replacement of eligible damaged products;
• partial refund;
• full refund where appropriate;
• another mutually agreed resolution.

9. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, Chaitanya Print will normally initiate the refund through the original payment method where technically available.

The actual time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's bank account, card, UPI-linked account or other payment instrument depends on the relevant bank or payment provider.

10. Shipping and Delivery Charges

Shipping or logistics costs that have already been incurred may be non-refundable unless they form part of an approved resolution for an issue attributable to Chaitanya Print or the relevant delivery process.

11. Payment Failure or Duplicate Payment

If an online payment fails but an amount appears to have been debited, payment status should first be confirmed through the payment provider and Chaitanya Print order system.

Where a verified duplicate payment has been received for the same transaction, the duplicate amount may be refunded after reconciliation.

12. Changes to an Existing Order

If you need to change quantity, paper, pages, binding, delivery details or another specification, contact us before production begins.

Changes that affect production cost may result in an updated quotation or additional payment.
